Sausage Rolls with Wellington Twist
Ingredients:
- 1 vegetarian sausage
- 15cm x 15cm piece of puff pastry
- 1 large mushroom
- 1 spoon of butter
- 1 teaspoon of mustard
- Salt, pepper and parsley
- Beaten egg for glaze
- Slice of cheese
Preparation
- Slice the mushroom and fry it on a little bit of butter, add salt, pepper and parsley to taste
- Spread mustard on the puff pastry
- Layer with mushrooms (and cheese)
- Wrap sausage with pastry, brush with beaten egg
- Bake in 180 degrees for 20-25min, until pastry puffs and became golden
