Sausage Rolls with Wellington Twist


  • 1 vegetarian sausage
  • 15cm x 15cm piece of puff pastry
  • 1 large mushroom
  • 1 spoon of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard
  • Salt, pepper and parsley
  • Beaten egg for glaze
  • Slice of cheese


  • Slice the mushroom and fry it on a little bit of butter, add salt, pepper and parsley to taste
  • Spread mustard on the puff pastry
  • Layer with mushrooms (and cheese)
  • Wrap sausage with pastry, brush with beaten egg
  • Bake in 180 degrees for 20-25min, until pastry puffs and became golden
