Crispy Sesame Tofu with Mixed Veg

Ingredients

  • 70g slice of smoked tofu
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoon breadcrumb
  • 1 teaspoon white sesame
  • 1 teaspoon black sesame
  • 100g broccoli
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 100g oyster mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice

Preparation

  • Press the water out of the Tofu
  • Mix breadcrumbs with sesame and black sesame, set aside
  • Beat the egg with a little bit of soy sauce
  • Cover the tofu slice with egg mixture then sesame breadcrumbs
  • Fry the tofu until breadcrumb is golden
  • In a wok stir fry the veg with tinny bit of sesame oil
  • Mix 1 teaspoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of chili paste and lime juice
  • Pour the mixture over the fried veg at the end of the cooking
  • Sprinkle veggies with remaining sesame seeds and serve with tofu slice at the top
